CrossRoadsNews and the Ray of Hope Christian Church

On July 17, CrossRoadsNews and the Ray of Hope Christian Church will co-host a “Candidates
Forum” for candidates on the July 31 ballot:

• DeKalb CEO
• DeKalb State Court
• Clerk of Superior Court
• DeKalb School Board Districts 4, 6 and 8
• DeKalb Board of Commission Districts 4, 5 and 6

The forum takes place 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Chapel at Ray of Hope Christian Church, 2778
Snapfinger Road in Decatur. It will be moderated by CrossRoadsNews Editor/Publisher Jennifer
Parker.
The first half-hour will include networking and welcome from Ray of Hope Pastor, the Rev.
Cynthia Hale. We will also recognize candidates for other offices.
The forum will begin promptly at 7 p.m., with the first hour dedicated to countywide offices –
CEO, Clerk of Court, and State Court Judge. At 8 p.m., the focus will shift to the Board of
Commissioners and School Board races.
